Suzuki has achieved a major milestone after the new GSX-8T and GSX-8TT were awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award: Product Design 2026 in Germany.

The recognition marks the first time any Suzuki product has received the internationally respected design award. Both motorcycles were honoured in the Product Design category of the Red Dot Design Award, organised by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany.

Established in 1955, the Red Dot Award is regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious design recognitions, evaluating products across multiple industries including automotive, technology, furniture and consumer electronics.

The GSX-8T and GSX-8TT received praise for successfully combining classic Suzuki styling cues with a modern and minimalist design language. According to the judging panel, the motorcycles stood out through their “precise transfer of classic visual features into a clearly structured, modern aesthetic.”

Takashi Ise, Managing Officer and Executive General Manager of Motorcycle Operations, expressed pride over the achievement.

“We are honoured that the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT have received the prestigious Red Dot Award. Both models are neo-retro street bikes that appeal both the unique and attractive elements of Suzuki’s past iconic models, and modern performance.he said.

He added that Suzuki will continue focusing on producing motorcycles that satisfy customers in both performance and design, in line with the company’s “By Your Side” philosophy.

The GSX-8T and GSX-8TT are part of Suzuki’s latest neo-retro street bike lineup, blending retro-inspired styling with modern engineering and rider-focused technology. Designed for a wide variety of riding situations, both models are aimed at riders seeking everyday practicality alongside touring capability and sporty character.
