Aruba.it Racing – Ducati delivered yet another commanding performance in the 2026 WorldSBK Championship, with Nicolò Bulega leading a dominant 1-2 finish ahead of teammate Iker Lecuona at the Balaton circuit in Hungary.
Bulega continued his sensational form by securing his 12th victory of the season, while also extending his remarkable streak to 16 consecutive WorldSBK wins, further cementing his place as the standout rider of the 2026 campaign.

Ducati dominance continues in Hungary
The Italian rider proved untouchable once again, despite admitting that the Balaton circuit is not ideally suited to his riding style. His performance underlined both his adaptability and the strength of the Ducati package.
Behind him, Lecuona delivered another strong result to finish in second place. The Spaniard showed early pace and attempted to challenge Bulega in the opening laps, but ultimately settled for a solid P2 finish.
This result marks the ninth consecutive 1-2 finish for Aruba.it Racing – Ducati this season, highlighting the team’s consistent dominance across the championship.

Bulega: “A fantastic weekend”
Reflecting on his latest victory, Bulega expressed his satisfaction with both the result and the team’s performance:
“Another fantastic weekend that makes me very happy. This isn’t a track that suits my riding style, so achieving this result gives me even more satisfaction. I want to thank the team for their incredible work. See you at Most.”
Lecuona battles through physical setback
Lecuona, meanwhile, revealed he was not at full fitness heading into the race weekend but was encouraged by his overall performance:
“I’m happy with the result, and it’s been another great weekend for the team. Could we have done more? Maybe. I wasn’t 100% physically due to a stomach issue earlier in the week, but my feeling improved with each session, which gives me confidence.”
Momentum builds heading into next round
With another dominant showing in Hungary, Aruba.it Racing – Ducati continues to set the benchmark in the 2026 WorldSBK season. As the championship heads to Most for the next round, Bulega and Lecuona remain firmly in control, with momentum clearly on their side.
