New adventure-touring models priced from RM85,450 with premium specs and Akrapovič exhaust as standard.

Triumph Motorcycles has officially opened bookings in Malaysia for the 2026 Tiger 900 GT Alpine Edition and Tiger 900 Rally Desert Edition, expanding its adventure-touring lineup for local riders.
The Tiger 900 GT Alpine is priced at RM85,450, while the more off-road-focused Rally Desert Edition comes in at RM89,250. Prices exclude road tax, insurance and registration. Both variants are equipped with an Akrapovič silencer as standard.
Both editions share the same 888 cc inline three-cylinder engine, delivering 106.5 hp at 9,500 rpm and 90 Nm of torque at 6,850 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox with slip and assist clutch, paired with a chain final drive.

Different Setups for Different Riding Styles
The key differences between the two models lie in their wheel setups and intended riding environments. The GT Alpine Edition is designed for road-biased touring, featuring cast alloy wheels sized 19-inch front and 17-inch rear, fitted with Metzeler Tourance tyres.
Meanwhile, the Rally Desert Edition is built for more rugged terrain, equipped with spoked tubeless wheels, including a larger 21-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear, wrapped in Bridgestone Battlax Adventure tyres.

Suspension and Protection Features
Suspension also differs between the two variants. The Alpine Edition uses Marzocchi suspension, with 45 mm upside-down forks offering 180 mm travel and an electronically adjustable rear monoshock with 170 mm travel.
The Rally Desert Edition features Showa suspension, with fully adjustable front forks delivering 240 mm travel and a rear monoshock offering 230 mm travel, making it better suited for off-road conditions.
In terms of protection, the Alpine comes with engine protection bars, while the Desert version adds fuel tank crash bars for added durability.

Braking, Tech and Rider Aids
Both models are equipped with Brembo Stylema brakes, featuring twin 320 mm front discs and a 255 mm rear disc, supported by optimised cornering ABS.
Riding information is displayed on a 7-inch TFT-LCD display with smartphone connectivity via the My Triumph app.
Dimensions and Colour Options
The Tiger 900 GT Alpine weighs 224 kg with a seat height adjustable between 820 mm and 840 mm, while the Rally Desert weighs 231 kg with a taller seat height ranging from 860 mm to 880 mm. Both models come with a 20-litre fuel tank.
Colour options for the Alpine Edition include Snowdonia White and Sapphire Black with Aegean Blue, while the Rally Desert Edition is available in Urban Grey and Sapphire Black with Baja Orange accents.
With bookings now open, the 2026 Triumph Tiger 900 Alpine and Rally Desert Editions offer Malaysian riders a choice between road-focused touring comfort and off-road capability in a premium middleweight adventure package.
