The Aprilia SR GT 200 has continued to perform strongly in the Malaysian market since its launch. Over 2,000 units have been successfully delivered to customers nationwide. This model has helped further strengthen the Aprilia brand in the premium urban adventure scooter segment. It has also successfully attracted more motorcycle enthusiasts in Malaysia.

For 2026, Didi Group has announced a new, more competitive pricing for the Aprilia SR GT 200 Sport, making it more affordable for riders in Malaysia. Starting now, the model is offered at RM15,900. This adjustment makes the SR GT 200 Sport even more attractive in its segment.

This move is intended to make this model more accessible to the local market, especially for riders who want a sporty scooter but still practical for everyday use. The Aprilia SR GT 200 Sport is designed as an urban adventure scooter that combines the comfort of an everyday scooter with a more rugged character.

The design is taller and more robust, providing a more confident riding position in city traffic. The long-travel suspension helps to improve comfort and stability when riding on uneven roads.

In terms of performance, the SR GT 200 Sport is powered by a 174cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled engine that produces around 17.4 hp at 8,500 rpm and 16.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm and is paired to an automatic CVT transmission. The maximum speed is around 120 to 125 km/h depending on road conditions. This makes it suitable for daily use in the city.

In terms of safety features, this model uses front and rear disc brakes with ABS system on both wheels which helps to increase control when braking and providing a more stable braking performance. The front suspension uses telescopic forks and the rear uses a preload adjustment system for added comfort.

Full LED lights are used throughout the motorcycle. The LCD digital display makes it easy to read information while riding. This motorcycle has a fuel tank with a capacity of around 9 liters, which is suitable for daily trips without having to refuel frequently.

In terms of ergonomics, the seat height is around 799mm which provides a more upright riding position. This position helps the rider see the road more clearly and also reduces fatigue when riding long distances. Although a little high for some riders, overall it is still comfortable for daily use.

Globally, Aprilia continues to perform well in the 2026 MotoGP. Several podiums and victories have been achieved, further strengthening the reputation of the Aprilia brand. This racing technology has also been carried over to street models such as the SR GT 200 Sport.

According to Didi Group, the new price is aimed at bringing Aprilia closer to more consumers in Malaysia. The combination of performance, sporty design and technology makes this model one of the most balanced urban adventure scooters on the market right now.

The 2026 Aprilia SR GT 200 Sport is now available at all official Aprilia dealers in Malaysia. Customers can visit the showroom to take a closer look at this model. With a new price of RM15,900, this model becomes more competitive in its segment. It offers a combination of style, performance and comfort for Malaysian riders.
