The highly anticipated Art of Speed Malaysia (AOS) is set to return for its 15th edition on August 1 and 2, 2026, once again taking place at the iconic Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS).

Running from 10:00 AM until late night on both days, the festival will occupy more than 452,000 square feet of indoor exhibition space and an expansive 320 acres of outdoor grounds, offering a wide range of activities, exhibitions and entertainment for visitors.

One of the biggest highlights for 2026 is the return of the SoundCircus Festival, which makes a comeback after a two-year absence. The music festival will take place on a four-acre outdoor site featuring six stages dedicated to performances and activities, bringing together musicians and performers from Malaysia, Indonesia and other countries.

Director of the Art of Speed Malaysia (AOSM) Festival, Mr. Asep Ahmad Iskandar

According to Asep Ahmad Iskandar, the Director of the Art of Speed Malaysia (AOSM) Festival, the upcoming edition represents a major evolution for the event, with a stronger impact expected on Malaysia’s creative industry and tourism sector.

Among the special performances planned for this year is “Takhta Ratu Nusantara”, a collaborative stage featuring Indonesian band Cokelat and Malaysian rock icon Ella. Another notable showcase will see rock groups Jemson and Def Gab C unite for a special set titled “Legends X Renegades,” celebrating two different generations of rock music.

Other unique concepts include “Hari Slatan,” presented by Slatan, while local radio personality Issey will perform alongside The Clique in a dikir barat performance themed “Dikir Kustom.”

In addition, a special father-and-son stage appearance featuring Couple and Adnan Othman will be presented under the concept “Power Pop Yeah Yeah.” The festival will also introduce “30 Years of Asian Hardcore,” a new concept celebrating the region’s hardcore music movement.

Asep said SoundCircus has grown significantly since its introduction in 2017, evolving into a curated platform supporting both established and emerging artists, particularly from Malaysia’s independent and underground music scene. In 2019, the festival expanded outdoors at MAEPS and attracted more than 5,000 attendees, marking a major milestone in its development.

For 2026, the festival is partnering with Tourism Selangor as a strategic collaborator. The partnership aims to position Selangor as a key destination for cultural tourism, creative industries and large-scale lifestyle events.

The SoundCircus performances will be announced in three phases. Phase 1 features more than 20 performers, including Indonesian indie band The Jansen, Malaysian acts Masdo and Midnight Fusic, alongside a mix of local DJs and emerging artists.

Phase 2 will feature 34 musicians from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore and Japan, including Indonesian singer Nadin Amizah, Japanese act Johnny Pandora, and regional hardcore and rock groups.

For the first time, performances will take place across multiple stages both indoors and outdoors, allowing visitors to experience different genres and performances simultaneously.

Tickets for AOS 2026 start from RM35 for general admission, while SoundCircus tickets range from RM89 to RM388, depending on the package and zone. Tickets are available online, with additional sales also available at the entrance during the event dates.

Beyond music performances, Art of Speed 2026 will continue its tradition of celebrating automotive culture, fashion and lifestyle, making it one of the region’s most distinctive festivals combining custom vehicles, creative arts and live entertainment.
