The 2026 MotoGP Season Launch has officially kicked off in Kuala Lumpur, turning Malaysia’s capital into a vibrant hub of motorcycling activity as the world’s premier motorcycle racing series builds momentum ahead of the new season.

A dedicated MotoGP Fan Zone inside Suria KLCC Shopping Mall opened to the public from 2–7 February, welcoming fans daily between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM with interactive displays, race bikes, team content and immersive experiences designed to bring the thrill of MotoGP closer to the city crowd.

Bikes on Tour Around the City

Before the main weekend festivities, MotoGP machines took to the streets on Friday with public displays and stops at iconic spots across the city, including KL Tower, Sungai Wang, and Dataran Merdeka, giving fans a rare up-close view of the machines before the central launch event.

Main Event Under the Twin Towers

The excitement will reach its peak on 7 February, when the official Season Launch takes place near the Petronas Twin Towers, one of the city’s most recognisable landmarks. Activities include:

10:00 AM–4:30 PM: Free wristband collection at the Fan Zone for access to the evening show

4:30 PM: Doors open to fans at the launch site

7:00 PM–10:30 PM: Main launch show featuring live music, entertainment and a Pit Box-style bike display at the KLCC entrance, followed by rider appearances and celebrations against the backdrop of the Twin Towers.

The event promises to blend MotoGP’s high-octane energy with a festival-like atmosphere, and entry to the main launch show is free for fans attending in person.

Watch and Experience

For those not in Kuala Lumpur, the Season Launch will be broadcast live on MotoGP’s official social channels and digital platforms, allowing fans worldwide to join the celebration as teams and riders step into 2026 with high hopes and renewed excitement.

The Kuala Lumpur Season Launch sets the stage for the upcoming 2026 MotoGP season, bringing the paddock closer to fans and showcasing the sport beyond the racetrack before attention turns back to the Petronas Sepang International Circuit in October and the first round in Buriram, Thailand.
