Built Tough, Styled Smarter

Built Tough, Styled Smarter

From Lithuania to Malaysian roads, Pando Moto brings leather jackets, jeans, and gloves that combine safety, comfort, and street-smart style—here’s how it holds up.

Riding gear isn’t just for looking good, it’s the thing that keeps your confidence up when you’re dealing with unpredictable Malaysian traffic, wet roads, and that one Myvi driver with no signal. Recently, we got our hands on a full Pando Moto riding set and, yes, this review is unpaid.

They sent us the gear, but everything here is honestly from our real riding experience. And honestly, this might just be the first full Malaysian review of Pando Moto gear.

Pando Moto

We received three items: Twin Leather Jacket Black, Boss Dyn 01 jeans, and Onyx Black 02 gloves, all neatly packed in a premium box straight from Lithuania, where the brand originates.

Pando Moto has been around since 2011 and has established itself in Europe as the go-to brand for riders who want gear that’s stylish and properly engineered. Their philosophy is straightforward: safety, function, and style. From the first unboxing, it already matched that vibe.

Pando Moto

Twin Leather Jacket – Leather Motorcycle Jacket

Let’s start with the star of the show: the Twin Leather Jacket. This thing is a full-grain buffalo leather jacket, 1.2mm thick, and it feels every bit as premium as it sounds. Although it looks stylish, this jacket is seriously safe, boasting CE-approved AA-level protection. You’ll get the same top-notch armor on the elbows and shoulders that you’d find in lots of those high-end, premium jackets.

Straight out of the box, the leather smells rich and feels solid. When worn, it’s stiff at first, typical leather behaviour, but never uncomfortable. After a few rides, it started molding nicely to the body. The bi-swing panels are a lifesaver because they prevent that usual “robot arms” feeling that many leather jackets give. Reaching for the handlebars, shoulder checks, even low-speed u-turns feel natural.

The perforated armpits are a thoughtful touch, but let’s be real, Malaysia at 2PM is still Malaysia at 2PM. This is definitely a night ride or Genting/Cameron Highlands jacket. At night, the comfort level shoots up and the jacket feels absolutely perfect. It’s warm but not hot, sturdy yet flexible, and honestly, makes you feel like you’re riding a Harley even if you’re on a Keeway.

Style-wise? It’s a head-turner. It gives off that timeless cruiser/bomber jacket vibe. You can walk into a café with it and most people wouldn’t even know it’s a motorcycle jacket. Just remember: premium buffalo leather needs care such as conditioning, cleaning, and most importantly, avoiding Malaysia’s random thunderstorms.

Boss Dyn 01 – Motorcycle Jeans

The BOSS DYN 01 jeans are where things got interesting. They use CORDURA stretch denim with COOLMAX and BALISTEX protection, which Pando claims is 15 times stronger than steel. And genuinely, they feel insanely tough without sacrificing comfort.

You get CE AAA+ rating, which is the highest class for motorcycle jeans. Knee and hip SAS-TEC TripleFlex armor is included, which is rare because most brands sell armor separately. The stretch on the jeans is surprisingly good, comfortable enough for daily commuting, cornering, and even long rides.

The fit is slim but not suffocating. And the handmade aging effect gives them that worn-in, rugged look straight away. Honestly, these feel like jeans you can wear off-bike too, no bulky seams, no awkward armor outlines.

On the bike, they’re steady and confidence-inspiring. Even after hours of riding through KL traffic, the pants felt breathable thanks to the COOLMAX technology. Sharp bumps aren’t an issue, and on longer rides, they stay comfortable without riding up or restricting movement. If you like the “all-black, tough rider” aesthetic, these are a dream come true.

Pando Moto

Onyx Black 02 – Leather Motorcycle Gloves

The gloves surprised me the most. The Onyx Black 02 gloves use perforated goatskin, which makes them lightweight and very breathable, which is kind of perfect for Malaysia’s heat. They’re fully CE-certified, have TPU knuckle protection, padded fingers, stretch inserts, and touchscreen-compatible fingertips.

At first wear, they felt stiff, normal for leather gloves, but after two or three rides, they softened up nicely. Ventilation is surprisingly good; even mid-day rides didn’t leave my hands sweaty. The pre-curved finger design makes throttle control, clutch engagement, and braking feel natural.

The knuckle and finger protection give peace of mind without looking bulky. And unlike many sporty gloves, these still maintain a sleek, simple look that is easy to match with any bike, from scooters to nakeds to cruisers.

Touchscreen sensitivity works well for phones and GPS, not perfect, but definitely usable. Among the three items, these gloves felt like the most “daily-ride friendly.”

Final Thoughts

Overall, this Pando Moto set impressed all of us. Not just because it looks good (which it absolutely does), but because every piece actually performs well for real-world riding. The jacket feels premium and protective, the jeans feel like they’re built for war, and the gloves strike a perfect balance between toughness and comfort.
