Aveta Malaysia has unveiled its latest addition to the local scooter market, the Aveta Nova 250, a powerful urban scooter designed to deliver a balance of comfort, practicality, and performance. Priced at RM14,388 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration), the Nova 250 is available in two sleek colour options: Emerald Green and Metro Grey. Each purchase is backed by a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects.

To celebrate the launch, the first 200 customers will receive an exclusive Givi top box and rack set worth RM750, free of charge, making the Nova 250 an even more attractive offering for daily commuters and touring riders alike.

Powering the Aveta Nova 250 is a 244 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder SOHC engine producing 25.5 hp at 8,250 rpm and 23 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The scooter features Bosch EFI for precise fuel delivery, paired with a CVT automatic transmission and belt final drive, ensuring smooth and responsive performance in city traffic or highway cruising.

In terms of chassis setup, the Nova 250 rides on 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels, wrapped in 120/70 (front) and 130/70 (rear) tyres. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic front forks and twin preload-adjustable rear shock absorbers, offering a comfortable yet stable ride.

Braking performance is enhanced with single hydraulic discs at both ends, featuring a four-piston caliper in front and a two-piston caliper at the rear, with dual-channel ABS and traction control included as standard for added safety.

Riders can expect a host of modern conveniences, including a smart key system, tyre pressure monitoring, USB-A and USB-C charging ports, and even a front dash cam for on-the-road video recording. A digital TFT-LCD instrument panel displays all essential riding data, while full LED lighting ensures visibility and style.

With a 12-litre fuel tank, the Aveta Nova 250 is well-equipped for both urban commuting and longer rides, positioning it as one of the most complete 250cc scooters in its class for 2025.
