Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Jeffrey Herlings is in the final stages of rehabilitation following surgery to repair a torn right ACL, aiming for a strong return to the FIM Motocross World Championship.
The five-time world champion, who sustained the injury in Valkenswaard in October 2024, has been progressing through his recovery and is just weeks away from getting back on his KTM 450 SX-F.
Despite a solid 2024 campaign with four GP wins and 15 podiums, Herlings will miss the MXGP season opener in Argentina on March 2-3 as he continues to build strength and assess his race readiness.

Herlings remains optimistic about his comeback, stating, “I can do everything aside from riding the bike. It should only be a few weeks until we are back to the normal plan. I want to ride as soon as possible and join my Red Bull KTM Factory Racing team, but we just need to wait a little longer.”
As Herlings prepares for his eighth MXGP season and 16th year in world championship competition, his focus is set on making a competitive return for the second half of the 2025 season.
