Aveta Malaysia has expanded its motorcycle lineup with the launch of the new Aveta Falcon 180, an adventure-style scooter introduced at the Aveta Mega Gathering at Setia City Convention Centre.
Priced at RM9,798, excluding insurance, the Falcon 180 is designed for daily use, weekend trips and long-distance adventures. The scooter is available in three colour options: Sahara Bronze, Alpine White and Storm Grey.
Powering the scooter is a 174cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, SOHC engine with a Bosch electronic fuel injection (EFI) system, which shares the same with the Aveta Vanguard 180 and Viper 180. Paired with an automatic CVT transmission, the engine produces 18.2hp at 8,500rpm and 17.2Nm of torque at 6,500rpm.

The Falcon 180 features an upside-down (USD) front fork and twin rear shock absorbers with external gas reservoirs. It rides on 14-inch front and 13-inch rear aluminium rims fitted with CST tyres. Also, the scooter weighs in at 155kg (curb) and is equipped with a 790mm high seat alongside 140mm of ground clearance.
For riders venturing beyond paved roads, the scooter also comes with a second footstep position that allows for a standing riding posture, offering additional flexibility when riding on uneven terrain.
In terms of equipment, the Falcon 180 features a 7-inch TFT display that presents riding information and can replay footage recorded by the front-mounted camera. This provides riders with access to recorded footage directly through the display.

For everyday practicality, the scooter comes with under-seat storage and an additional storage compartment beneath the handlebar. The front compartment includes USB-A and USB-C charging ports for compatible devices, while a smart key system provides keyless convenience.
Safety features include dual-channel anti-lock braking system (ABS) and traction control, both of which can be switched off using buttons on the left handlebar. This allows riders to adjust the electronic assistance according to their riding conditions.
The Falcon 180 also features a 14-litre fuel tank, all-LED lighting with fog lamps, and an adjustable windscreen for added convenience during different riding conditions. Mounting points for a top box are also provided, allowing owners to add extra storage for commuting or longer journeys.
With its adventure-inspired design, versatile riding position and range of technology and convenience features, the Aveta Falcon 180 joins the Malaysian market as an option for riders looking for a scooter suited to both daily commuting and occasional adventures beyond the city.
