Beddini Racing Ducati MX2 Factory Team has officially confirmed the signing of Danish talent Nicolai Skovbjerg for the 2027 FIM Motocross World Championship season. The 20-year-old standout will make his MX2 debut aboard the Desmo250 MX, lining up alongside teammate Ferruccio Zanchi.
Skovbjerg enters the premier ranks following a breakthrough 2026 campaign in the EMX250 European Championship, where he finished as overall runner-up. In his third EMX250 season—built on a foundation of two years in EMX125—the Padborg native proved his elite pedigree with three overall GP victories in Sardinia, Belgium, and the Netherlands, establishing himself as one of the paddock’s most formidable sand riders.
Born August 25, 2006, in Southern Jutland, Skovbjerg has been competing in motocross since 2009. His jump to factory Ducati hardware marks a pivotal milestone as the Italian manufacturer expands its off-road presence into the MX2 World Championship.
Nicolai Skovbjerg: “I’m really proud and excited to announce that I’ll be joining Beddini Racing Factory Ducati for the 2027 MX2 World Championship. It’s a huge step in my career and a dream come true. I’m really looking forward to starting this new chapter, working with the team and giving it everything I have. I can’t wait to get started. Let’s go!”
