The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 features a 452-cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled ‘Sherpa’ engine. It delivers 40 hp at 8,000 rpm and 40 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The bike has a six-speed manual transmission, with a top speed of 122 km/h.

Designed for rugged adventures, the Himalayan 450 features a sturdy frame and a large-capacity fuel tank. It offers an upright riding position for better visibility. The bike includes an LED headlamp for improved night rides. It also has a TripperDash 4-inch TFT display, supporting smartphone connectivity and Google Maps for real-time navigation. The tide-by-wire throttle system offers selectable riding modes.

The bike has a 21-inch spoked front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, fitted with 90/90 and 140/80 tyres, respectively—split seats with an adjustable height range from 805 mm to 845 mm. A USB C-type charging point adds convenience. The suspension system includes an upside-down fork front and linkage-type mono-shock rear suspension. The bike also features hydraulic disc brakes with double-piston callipers at the front, single-piston callipers at the rear, and switchable rear ABS for added safety.

Enthusiasts can visit their nearest Royal Enfield dealership to experience the 2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan 450. With its impressive features and competitive pricing, the Himalayan 450 is likely to become a popular choice among adventure bike lovers in Malaysia.
