Honda Launches Limited-Edition Super Cub Tokyo 80s in Thailand

Limited to just 500 units, the special-edition Super Cub 110 combines an ’80s-inspired colour scheme with retro accessories and matching riding gear.

Honda Motorcycle Thailand has introduced a limited-edition Super Cub 110 Tokyo 80s Edition, with only 500 units available exclusively in the Thai market.

Inspired by the look and atmosphere of Tokyo in the 1980s, the special edition gives Honda’s classic Super Cub a stronger retro character while retaining the mechanical package of the standard Super Cub 110.

The Tokyo 80s Edition features a distinctive yellow-and-white colour scheme, complemented by wire-spoke wheels, a chrome front carrier and a brown-tinted windscreen. Retro-inspired graphics have also been added to the side panels and leg shield, further highlighting the motorcycle’s vintage styling.

Honda has also prepared matching riding gear as part of the special edition package. Buyers receive a cream-coloured jacket with retro stripes, along with a yellow half-face helmet featuring a matching tinted visor and Tokyo 80s Edition graphics.

Despite the additional styling, the special edition retains the same mechanical specification as the standard Super Cub 110. Power comes from a 109cc four-stroke single-cylinder engine producing 8 hp and 8.8 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a four-speed rotary semi-automatic gearbox.

Braking hardware consists of a single disc brake at the front and a drum brake at the rear. The Super Cub Tokyo 80s Edition does not come with ABS but is equipped with Honda’s Combined Braking System (CBS).

The Honda Super Cub Tokyo 80s Edition is priced at THB54,000 (approximately RM6,557), based on the provided exchange rate.With production limited to just 500 units, the special edition is currently exclusive to Thailand, with no announcement regarding availability in other markets.
