The Japanese Grand Prix (GP) will kick off the Asian racing series for the 2026 Moto3 World Championship season, with national rider, Hakim Danish, targeting another positive result to strengthen his position in the world championship chart.

After a few competitive rounds in Europe, Hakim Danish is now ready to face a new challenge at Mobility Resort Motegi with the AEON Credit-MT Helmets-MSi team. This season’s Asian Series will continue to Indonesia, Australia and Malaysia, making every race crucial in the fight for championship points.

Hakim Danish Now Ranked Seventh Overall

Hakim Danish arrived in Japan with high confidence after collecting 101 points, placing him in seventh place overall in the 2026 Moto3 World Championship.

With just a few rounds left before the end of the season, every point earned will play a vital role in improving the overall standings. As such, the team has been focusing on thorough preparations since the first free practice session.

Motegi Demands Accuracy and Consistency

The Mobility Resort Motegi circuit is known for being one of the most precise and focused circuits. The combination of technical corners and challenging braking zones requires riders to get their bikes set up right from the start of the race weekend.

Hakim Danish and his team will focus on developing the machine throughout the practice sessions before turning their attention to the qualifying sessions and the main race.

The positive momentum in Japan is also seen as important in preparation for three more consecutive races in Indonesia, Australia and Malaysia.

According to Hakim Danish, he is excited to start the Asian racing series and hopes to start the weekend in Motegi with a consistent performance.

This weekend is race week for the Japanese GP, and I’m really excited to begin the Asian leg of the championship. I’ve been looking forward to this race and I’m determined to give my best performance at Motegi.

My strategy is to make a strong start from the very first day. I want to build a good rhythm, stay focused and remain competitive throughout every practice and qualifying session.

Together with the team, we will work hard throughout the weekend to ensure the bike is performing at its optimum level, with the goal of scoring as many points as possible and carrying that momentum through to the Malaysian GP.” said Hakim Danish.

Zulfahmi Khairuddin Focuses on Riders’ Performance and Fitness

SIC Racing Team Manager, Zulfahmi Khairuddin, also stressed that the Asian racing series is a very important phase due to the tight race schedule in succession.

According to him, the health, fitness and confidence of the riders are a priority to ensure that Hakim Danish’s performance remains competitive throughout the rest of the season.

“This week marks the start of the Asia Tour, which is a very important period for us as we will be facing back-to-back races. The priority is to ensure that Hakim Danish remains healthy and in the best possible condition.

Secondly, we want to build his confidence with the bike and make sure he continues to compete at a strong and competitive level.
