Hakim Danish Keeps Top-10 Spot in 2026 Moto3 Standings

The young national rider finished the Aragon GP in 12th place, collecting four valuable points to maintain eighth place overall in the fight for the Rookie of the Year title.

National Moto3 rider, Hakim Danish Ramli, once again proved his consistency on the world stage when he successfully finished the 2026 Aragon Grand Prix in 12th position. The result allowed the AEON Credit-MT Helmets-MSi rider to collect four more valuable points to remain in the top 10 of this season’s Moto3 World Championship.

Hakim Danish started the race from 13th place at the MotorLand Aragón Circuit. He made an aggressive start and managed to improve his position early in the race before competing in the top 10.

However, the competition became increasingly fierce towards the end of the race, and Hakim Danish had to fight to defend his position. After 17 laps, he crossed the finish line in 12th place with a time of 33 minutes 29.762 seconds, just 14.284 seconds behind race winner Maximo Quiles of CFMOTO Valres Aspar Team.

The result adds four points to his overall tally, bringing Hakim Danish’s total points tally to 90 points and keeping him in eighth place overall in the 2026 Moto3 World Championship.

Hakim Danish Continues to Compete for Rookie of the Year Title

Apart from continuing to be in the top 10 overall, Hakim Danish also remains one of the main contenders for the Rookie of the Year title this season.

He is currently in third place in the rookie standings with 90 points, just seven points behind Veda Pratama who is in second place with 97 points. Meanwhile, Brian Uriarte continues to lead the rookie chart with 138 points.

With just a few rounds left in the 2026 season, the opportunity to improve the standings is still wide open. Hakim Danish’s consistent performances throughout the season give him confidence that he can continue to challenge the front group.

A Consistent First Season on the World Stage

The 2026 season saw Hakim Danish put in a convincing performance in his debut appearance in the Moto3 World Championship.

Among his biggest achievements this season was his historic victory at the Czech Republic Grand Prix in Brno, thus proving the young Malaysian racer’s ability to compete with the world’s best racers.

The results in Aragon may not have been in the top 10, but the continued points collection is a positive sign in the effort to build a consistent campaign throughout the season.

Hakim Danish: I Will Not Give Up

Commenting on the race in Aragon, Hakim Danish admitted that this race was quite challenging, but remained satisfied with the effort given throughout the race.

“Today was overall quite challenging for me. However, in the early stages of the race, I tried to give my best and push the machine as best as possible to be in the front group.

“However, the front group had better momentum than me. I just tried to maintain my own pace and riding style and hold on until the end of the race.”

“I’m getting more comfortable with the machine, but not yet completely. I’m still having difficulties in terms of machine settings and need to make further improvements. The team has also made a good set-up for today’s race.

“I believe that in the next race I can give my best. I hope Malaysians continue to pray for me so that I can do better in the next race.”

“I won’t give up. I will continue to give my best and work hard for the next race.”

Zulfahmi Khairuddin Wants Hakim Danish to Improve

SIC Racing Team Manager, Zulfahmi Khairuddin, believes the results in Aragon still do not reflect the true potential of Hakim Danish.

According to him, the team identified several aspects that needed to be improved, especially when racing on circuits with low grip levels.

“This decision in Aragon is not a good decision for all of us. I believe Hakim Danish’s potential is better than that.”

“However, there are a few things we need to improve, especially in terms of Hakim Danish’s own riding, especially when on circuits with less grip.”

“We can see that when he competes on a circuit that does not have good grip, Danish has difficulty getting the machine to match his needs in a short time. This situation makes it difficult for him to move forward throughout the entire race weekend.”

“So, this is a challenging race for Hakim Danish, but I believe what we need to focus on is improving Danish’s riding skills when competing on a circuit with less grip.”

ZK Racing also appreciates the commitment shown by Hakim Danish throughout the race weekend in Aragon.

The team also expressed its appreciation to the entire crew who worked hard from the practice sessions, qualifying until the race to ensure the machinery was at its best.

The focus now shifts to the San Marino Grand Prix, which will take place at the Marco Simoncelli World Circuit, Misano, from September 11 to 13, 2026.

With a long season left, Hakim Danish and his team will continue to strive to close the gap in the fight for the Rookie of the Year title and strengthen his position in the 2026 Moto3 World Championship.
