Aprilia RS 660 Secures 2026 Italian Sportbike Title

Filippo Bianchi clinched the Italian Sportbike championship with one round remaining, adding another major title for the Aprilia RS 660 after its success in MotoAmerica’s Twins Cup.

The Aprilia RS 660 has added another championship to its racing record after Filippo Bianchi secured the Italian Sportbike title at the Cremona Circuit.

Riding for MMP Velocità, the 2005-born rider topped qualifying and went on to win both Race 1 and the Superpole Race, securing the championship with one round still remaining.

Bianchi has now taken seven wins from 11 races this season, underlining his consistency and the competitiveness of the RS 660 in the middleweight production-bike category.

The title adds to the RS 660’s international success following its championship victory in MotoAmerica’s Twins Cup. Bianchi has also previously won the Aprilia RS 660 Trophy in 2024. The result highlights the combined performance of Bianchi, MMP Velocità and the RS 660 throughout the Italian championship.

RSV4 1100 Takes CIV Superbike Victory

Aprilia also celebrated a victory in the CIV Superbike class at Cremona, where Luca Bernardi took a solo win in Race 1 aboard the RSV4 1100.

The victory came at a circuit that was new to all competitors in the Italian Championship, adding another strong result for Aprilia during the weekend.

REVO-M2 Retires from Bol d’Or

At the Bol d’Or, the final round of the FIM Endurance World Championship (EWC), the REVO-M2 team competed in the Superstock category with an Aprilia RSV4 1100.

Kevin Calia, Simone Saltarelli, Flavio Ferroni and Mathieu Gines shared riding duties. The team suffered a crash during the opening hour but repaired the motorcycle and returned to the race, recovering to sixth in class.

A second crash after eight hours, however, forced the team to retire. Despite the result, REVO-M2 demonstrated competitive pace during its time on track.

Together, the Cremona results and Bol d’Or campaign underline Aprilia’s continued presence across middleweight, Superbike and endurance racing, with the RS 660 and RSV4 1100 competing across multiple championship categories.
