Aveta Motor Malaysia has expanded its adventure motorcycle lineup with the launch of the all-new Aveta Vanguard 180 and the Aveta Vanguard 250 Limited Edition (LE) during an event held in Putrajaya.
The introduction of the two new models follows the positive reception of the Vanguard 250 since its launch in January 2025, while also addressing growing demand for adventure motorcycles that are easier to handle for everyday riding.
According to Aveta, the Vanguard 180 was developed to make the adventure segment more accessible to a wider range of riders, while the Vanguard 250 Limited Edition offers a more exclusive ownership experience with production capped at 688 units.

The Aveta Vanguard 180 is offered in two variants, priced at RM9,398 for the Standard model and RM9,698 for the Explorer Pack, which adds a top box and crash bars. Prices exclude road tax, insurance and registration. The Standard variant is available in Neon Terrain and Grey Sandstone, while the Explorer Pack is offered exclusively in Frost White.
Power comes from a 174cc liquid-cooled SOHC single-cylinder engine producing 18.2 hp at 8,500 rpm and 17.2 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a CVT automatic transmission driving the rear wheel with a belt.
The Vanguard 180 rides on 14-inch front and 13-inch rear wheels, fitted with 100/80 front and 130/70 rear tyres. Suspension consists of telescopic front forks and preload-adjustable twin rear shock absorbers with remote gas reservoirs. Braking is handled by single hydraulic discs at both ends, with a two-piston front caliper, while dual-channel ABS and Traction Control System (TCS) come as standard.
The scooter is also equipped with a 7-inch TFT touchscreen display, built-in front dashcam with video playback, Smart Key system, USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports, a 780 mm seat height, 10.5-litre fuel tank, and a kerb weight of 142 kg.

For riders seeking a more premium offering, Aveta also introduced the Vanguard 250 Limited Edition, with production limited to just 688 individually numbered units available exclusively through selected Aveta Preferred Dealers.
The Limited Edition stands out with its exclusive Eclipse Blue paint scheme, unique serial-numbered badge, sportier handlebars, metal footrests, exclusive startup animation on the TFT display and special graphics that distinguish it from the standard model.
Power remains unchanged, with the Vanguard 250 LE using the same 244.3cc liquid-cooled SOHC single-cylinder engine producing 24.8 hp at 8,500 rpm and 22.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.
Standard equipment includes dual-channel ABS, Traction Control System, and a TFT instrument display, maintaining the same technology package offered on the standard Vanguard 250.
Alongside the new model launches, Aveta also announced plans to further grow the Vanguard community in Malaysia through organised group rides and community programmes aimed at strengthening the local adventure riding culture.
