Following its February CSR Ride Iftar to Charity Care Centre Asyura, iMotorbike continued its community outreach efforts for March with its 16th Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, this time extending support to PAWS Animal Welfare Society under the company’s ongoing #1ForAll CSR programme.

Located in Ara Damansara, PAWS is a non-profit and non-governmental animal welfare organisation that has been caring for abandoned, stray, and unwanted cats and dogs since 1987. Today, the shelter houses around 300 dogs, 200 cats, and several other rescued animals, all cared for by a dedicated team of volunteers and staff.

During the visit, the iMotorbike team donated food supplies and daily necessities to support the shelter’s operations and animal care efforts. The initiative was made possible through the collective contributions and support from the wider iMotorbike community, reinforcing the company’s commitment to giving back to society in meaningful ways.

The team also met with Jonathan Yeoh, coordinator at PAWS, who shared insights into the shelter’s daily operations and animal care process. Many of the animals housed at PAWS are either surrendered by owners or rescued by members of the public before being brought to the shelter for protection and rehabilitation.

To ensure proper care and health monitoring, cats and dogs are kept in separate sections. Newly arrived animals are first placed in designated vaccination and observation areas where they are dewormed, vaccinated, and monitored before being moved into the main shelter areas. Puppies and kittens are also separated from adult animals, while sick or injured animals receive isolated care and treatment when necessary.

Beyond rescue and rehabilitation, PAWS also actively promotes adoption, giving these animals an opportunity to find safe and loving forever homes.
