Boon Siew Honda has officially announced the completion and operational launch of its new purpose-built Centralised Spare Parts Warehouse at the company’s headquarters, marking a major step forward in strengthening its aftersales support and supply chain operations in Malaysia.

The newly developed facility spans approximately 5,533 square metres, representing a 238 per cent increase in size compared to the company’s previous spare parts storage facility. The expansion allows Boon Siew Honda to accommodate higher inventory levels while significantly improving operational readiness and efficiency.

The warehouse was designed with a 9-metre height clearance alongside a larger storage area and increased capacity to maximise space utilisation and improve workflow management.

According to the company, the facility integrates inbound, storage and outbound logistics into a fully centralized operation, helping to improve inventory accuracy, handling efficiency and coordination across procurement, logistics and aftersales departments.

This improvement is expected to enhance spare parts availability while ensuring faster and more efficient distribution to more than 114 Honda Impian X dealerships and seven Honda BigWing outlets nationwide.

The new warehouse was also developed according to Honda’s global logistics standards, incorporating optimised layout planning, vertical storage systems and system-driven inventory tracking technology to improve productivity and operational precision.

Beyond operational improvements, the facility has also achieved Green Building Index (GBI) certification, reflecting Boon Siew Honda’s ongoing commitment towards more sustainable business operations.

Kunitomo Asano, Managing Director and CEO of Boon Siew Honda, described the warehouse as a strategic investment for the company’s future growth.

“The introduction of our new Spare Parts Warehouse is a strategic step in strengthening our after-sales foundation in Malaysia. As our network continues to grow, it is essential that our infrastructure evolves to support both our dealers and customers more effectively,” he said.

“This facility enhances our operational efficiency, improves parts readiness, and enables us to deliver a higher standard of service experience.”

Construction of the warehouse began in May 2025 before being completed in March 2026, with full operations officially commencing in May 2026.

The facility is also designed to support projected demand growth through 2031 as Boon Siew Honda continues expanding its presence and aftersales capabilities across Malaysia.
