BRABUS and French manufacturer DAB Motors have teamed up to launch a new range of electric motorcycles. The global debut took place at Milan Design Week 2026, one of the world’s top design events.
The collaboration introduces three models: the DAB 1a BRABUS, BRABUS URBAN E, and BRABUS URBAN E FIRST EDITION. Together, they aim to redefine urban riding with a mix of performance, design, and innovation.
Strong electric performance for everyday riding
All three models use a 72V lithium-ion battery. As a result, riders can expect a range of up to 150 km and a top speed of 120 km/h. Power is delivered through a carbon belt drive, which is both smooth and low-maintenance. However, performance does differ across the lineup.
The DAB 1a BRABUS produces 23 kW (31 hp) and 395 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the BRABUS URBAN E pushes things further with 27 kW (37 hp) and up to 475 Nm of torque. That’s around 20% more power, making it the more aggressive option.
In addition, riders can choose from multiple riding modes such as Eco, Street, Sport, Nitrous, and Reverse. This makes the bikes suitable for both daily commuting and spirited riding.

Signature BRABUS design with premium materials
Design plays a big role in this collaboration. Each model features exposed carbon-fiber parts, sharp bodywork, and a bold visual identity.
First, the DAB 1a BRABUS comes in an all-black finish. It includes Alcantara seat upholstery and subtle design details that give it a premium feel.
On the other hand, the BRABUS URBAN E is more aggressive. It features a monocoque-style body, extra carbon-fiber elements, and a unique lighting signature. It also gets a BRABUS Masterpiece leather seat, adding a luxury touch.
Limited FIRST EDITION for collectors
For collectors, BRABUS is offering a special version: the BRABUS URBAN E FIRST EDITION.
Each colour option, Peetch, Desert Sand, Superviolet, and Fusion Red, is limited to just 10 units. Because of this, the model is highly exclusive.
Moreover, each bike gets a full matching design. This includes the frame, body panels, and leather seat. Some variants also feature additional carbon-fiber details for an even more striking look.

Market availability
Initially, the bikes will be available in Europe, the UK, and Switzerland, as well as selected global markets. Availability in other regions will depend on local regulations.
A new step for BRABUS in electric mobility
This partnership marks BRABUS’ entry into the electric motorcycle segment. At the same time, it strengthens DAB Motors’ position in the premium EV space.
According to BRABUS CEO Constantin Buschmann, Milan Design Week is the perfect place to introduce this new direction. Meanwhile, DAB Motors founder Simon Dabadie described the project as a shared vision focused on innovation and performance.
Overall, this collaboration shows how design and technology can come together to shape the future of urban mobility.
