The Moto Morini X-CAPE 700 has now officially entered the Malaysian market after being previously introduced at a special event in China in November last year.

This adventure model is offered at a price of RM38,888 , excluding road tax, insurance and registration. Three colour options are available, namely Rock Black, Vortex Red and Dynamic White. Every purchase also comes with a two-year, unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing defects.

The X-Cape 700 is powered by a 693cc, liquid-cooled, twin-cylinder engine, producing around 73.75 hp at 8,500 rpm and 68.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed transmission with an FCC slipper clutch.

In terms of handling, the motorcycle is equipped with adjustable Marzocchi upside-down forks at the front and an adjustable KYB monoshock at the rear. Suspension travel is 165 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, respectively, with a ground clearance of 190 mm.

The braking system uses Brembo components, including twin 298 mm discs at the front with four-piston calipers, and a 255 mm disc at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is standard. The X-Cape 700 also rides on 19-inch spoked rims at the front and 17-inch at the rear, suitable for both on-road and light off-road riding.

This model is equipped with a 7-inch TFT-LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity, as well as USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports. Other technologies include Traction Control System (TCS), Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and Off-Road and Ride riding modes. Interestingly, this motorcycle also comes with a front camera for safety purposes and recording the journey.

As an adventure motorcycle, the X-Cape 700 is offered with a complete luggage set that includes two side panniers and a top box, in addition to hand guards and a crash bar as standard. The overall weight of the motorcycle is around 233 kg, with an 18-litre fuel tank and a seat height of 840 mm.

With every purchase, customers also enjoy a two-year unlimited mileage warranty as well as the convenience of purchasing genuine spare parts online through Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd.

The launch of the X-Cape 700 adds more options in the mid-range adventure segment in Malaysia, especially for riders looking for a balance between performance, technology and comfort for long journeys.
