Ducati continues to strengthen its relationship with the world of art by confirming its presence at Arte Fiera 2026, hosting the third edition of the Officina Arte Ducati Award. The initiative further underlines the Italian motorcycle manufacturer’s belief that art is a core part of its cultural identity, blending creativity, design, and innovation.
Held at Arte Fiera in Bologna, Italy’s longest-running contemporary art fair, the 2026 edition of the award aligns with Ducati’s Centenary celebrations through the theme “A Century Made of Seconds”. The concept reflects the brand’s history, where moments of speed, technological progress, and design excellence come together to define its legacy.

Art, speed, and innovation at the heart of Ducati’s centenary
The theme “A Century Made of Seconds” acts as the narrative thread of Ducati’s 100-year journey, celebrating the value of fleeting yet unforgettable moments. It draws parallels between the intensity of artistic creation and the split-second decisions that shape Ducati’s racing heritage and engineering evolution.
Through this award, Ducati aims to recognise works that best interpret the values of speed, design research, and innovation, elements that have characterised both Ducati’s motorcycles and artistic experimentation since the early 1900s.
Rooted in the Emilia-Romagna region, Ducati and Arte Fiera share a deep connection to craftsmanship, creativity, and modernity, while maintaining a strong international outlook. This shared heritage continues to fuel a dialogue between industrial excellence and contemporary art.

Expert jury and corporate art legacy
The Officina Arte Ducati Award 2026 will extend across Hall 25, dedicated entirely to contemporary art. The winning artwork will be selected by a panel of distinguished experts, comprising:
- Cristiana Perrella, Artistic Director of MACRO – Museum of Contemporary Art in Rome
- Luca Cerizza, independent curator and art critic
- Stefano Tarabusi, Design Manager at Ducati Motor Holding
The selected artwork will become part of the Borgo Panigale corporate collection, supported by Fondazione Ducati, reinforcing the brand’s long-term investment in cultural initiatives.

Building on past award winners
The 2026 winning piece will join a growing collection of acclaimed contemporary artworks, including “There Is So Much We Can Learn from the Sun” by Marinella Senatore (Gallery Mazzoleni), winner of the 2025 edition, and “Ossicodone 2” by Alberto Tadiello (Gallery Umberto di Marino), awarded in 2024.
With the third edition of the Officina Arte Ducati Award, Ducati once again demonstrates how performance, design, and artistic vision can intersect, proving that its pursuit of excellence extends far beyond the racetrack.
