French engineering meets Malaysian roads as Aveta prepares to introduce premium models and elevate the nation’s two-wheel landscape with Peugeot Motorcycles.

Aveta International Sdn Bhd has officially announced a major strategic partnership with Peugeot Motocycles, the iconic European motorcycle manufacturer known for its rich 125-year heritage. This collaboration paves the way for Peugeot Motocycles’ official entry into Malaysia, marking a significant milestone for the nation’s growing premium two-wheeler market.

According to a statement by Aveta, both companies are gearing up for a market debut targeted for Q1 2026, with preparations already underway to introduce a fresh premium mobility experience for Malaysian riders. The partnership focuses on innovation, elevated customer experience and long-term brand development, reinforcing Peugeot Motocycles’ presence on Malaysian roads in the years ahead.

Peugeot Motorcycles Asia Pacific director Judah Immanuel Sangaran highlighted the importance of the Asian market in the brand’s global expansion plans.

“Asia is a key region for our long-term growth, and Malaysia plays an essential role in that journey,” he said. “Aveta International meets those standards with confidence, including a dedicated team focused on Peugeot Motorcycles and strong marketing capabilities. We are confident that Malaysian consumers will enjoy a premium, authentic Peugeot Motorcycles experience in sales, service and customer care that is fully aligned with our global brand standards.”

Aveta International group managing director Steven Lim echoed the sentiment, stating that the addition of Peugeot Motorcycles strengthens Aveta’s growing portfolio while enhancing Malaysia’s urban mobility segment.

“Our focus is to ensure that every rider enjoys premium French design and engineering, supported by the establishment of Peugeot Motorcycles flagship stores across key regions. This partnership strengthens our position in the market and raises the standard of urban mobility for Malaysian riders.”

Founded in 1898, Peugeot Motorcycles has built a legacy rooted in French innovation, advanced engineering and timeless design. The brand has long influenced urban mobility worldwide with models that combine practicality, elegance and the brand’s philosophy of Allure, a blend of style, substance, emotional innovation and human-centred mobility.

Aveta currently distributes a diverse lineup of motorcycles in Malaysia recently, including the Vanguard 250 and Nova series scooters, Ranger Cub-Cross, Marvel 150 minibike, as well as the VZR 250 sports bike and SVR 180 super moped.

With this new partnership, Malaysian riders can look forward to a fresh wave of premium European models as Peugeot Motorcycles prepares to make its official Malaysian debut in 2026.
