It took just two weeks for Aprilia’s latest creation, the RSV4 X-GP, to sell out globally, all 30 units spoken for in a flash. The overwhelming response cements the “X” brand as a true symbol of exclusivity and high-performance engineering from the Noale Racing Department.

The RSV4 X-GP was unveiled at the Catalunya Grand Prix to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Aprilia’s RS-GP MotoGP debut. The special-edition machine quickly attracted collectors and racing fans from around the world, including buyers from Europe, the UAE, Australia, Malaysia, and the United States.

Interest in the RSV4 X-GP far exceeded expectations, with Aprilia receiving booking requests well beyond the 30-unit limit within days of its presentation in Barcelona. The response highlights the growing global demand for factory-derived race bikes that blend innovation, exclusivity, and racing DNA.

Designed for the track, the RSV4 X-GP is packed with cutting-edge features including MotoGP-inspired leg and tail wings, a structural carbon seat frame, and a 799cc V4 engine delivering an incredible 238 hp with a dry weight of just 165 kg. It also becomes the most powerful RSV4 ever built, offering a remarkable power-to-weight ratio that redefines what a race-ready superbike can be.

The model’s launch created a major stir across international media, generating strong coverage and online engagement that further solidified Aprilia’s standing among premium motorcycle brands.

Massimo Rivola, CEO of Aprilia Racing, commented: “The X-GP proves that Aprilia Racing’s ‘X’ project is now a benchmark for innovation and exclusivity. It’s a niche brand with huge potential, created for those who live and breathe track performance.”

With every RSV4 X-GP unit already claimed, Aprilia continues to push the boundaries of engineering and performance reminding the world that passion for speed and craftsmanship still drives the heart of Italian motorcycling.
