The 2025 Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race wasn’t just a spectacle of world-class endurance racing—it also played host to a bold celebration of Honda’s CB heritage. On August 2, Honda rolled out an impressive lineup of motorcycles, headlined by the much-anticipated debut of the CB 1000 F SE Concept, alongside dynamic show runs of the CB 1000 F Concept, RCB1000 racer, and a Moriwaki Engineering edition of the CB 1000 F.

The CB 1000 F Concept: Designed in Brazil, Revealed Globally

Earlier this year, the motorcycle world was surprised to learn that the striking CB 1000 F Concept wasn’t the work of a traditional Japanese design team but rather the brainchild of Yuha Suzuki, a designer from Moto Honda da Amazônia Ltda in Brazil. The bike’s clean lines, retro-modern appeal, and minimalistic silhouette captured enthusiasts’ imaginations when it was first revealed.

Now, Honda has taken that momentum further by introducing a new variant: the CB 1000 F SE Concept.

First Look: CB 1000 F SE Concept

Unveiled for the first time during the Suzuka festivities, the SE Concept builds on the base model with refined visual touches. Although Honda has not yet revealed the full specs, teaser images reveal a distinctive headlight cowl, a nod to the café racer era, that suggests a sportier, more stylised evolution of the platform.

It remains unconfirmed whether the SE will share the same blue and silver colour scheme as the standard CB 1000 F Concept, but expectations run high. Honda’s track record with concept designs points to a meticulous attention to both form and function.

The Suzuka CB Showcase

The CB showcase wasn’t just about the SE. Honda thrilled attendees with demonstration runs featuring:

  • The CB 1000 F Concept, which had already made waves earlier this year
  • The RCB1000, a throwback to Honda’s iconic endurance racing machine
  • The CB 1000 F Concept Moriwaki Engineering, hinting at potential race-focused tuning or accessories

Together, these bikes offered a glimpse into Honda’s ongoing passion for blending modern performance with classic inspiration.

What’s Next for the CB 1000 F?

With a steady stream of concept unveilings and show appearances, Honda seems serious about the CB 1000 F’s future. While there’s no official word on production plans or global availability, the consistent focus on the model suggests that a launch, at least in Japan, is likely.

International fans still await confirmation on whether the CB 1000 F, including its SE and Moriwaki variants, will reach markets beyond Japan. But given the interest and positive reception, broader availability wouldn’t be surprising.

From heritage racers to futuristic reinterpretations, Honda’s CB 1000 F lineup at Suzuka was more than a showcase; it was a statement. With the debut of the CB 1000 F SE Concept, Honda reinforces its reputation for delivering emotionally resonant motorcycles that combine classic cues with contemporary performance.

Now, enthusiasts await and hope to hear the roar of these CBs on roads far beyond Suzuka.
