In an exceptional 2024 FIM Superbike World Championship (WorldSBK) season, Turkish rider Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, famously known as “El Turco,” dominated the series, claiming 18 wins, 27 podiums, and 527 points, leading BMW Motorrad Motorsport to its first-ever world championship title in WorldSBK.

The 28-year-old two-time WorldSBK champion, previously crowned in 2021 as a factory Yamaha rider, further underscored his impressive season by securing six pole positions, 13 fastest laps, and the Pirelli Best Lap Award. With 57 career victories, Razgatlıoğlu now ranks fourth in the all-time WorldSBK win list.

To honour his remarkable achievements, BMW Motorrad has unveiled a limited-edition replica of his championship-winning bike—the BMW M RR WSBK Champion Edition 2024, inspired by the M 1000 RR M Competition. Limited to just 54 units in tribute to his racing number, the Champion Edition offers fans a chance to own a piece of racing history.

A masterpiece combining elite performance with a striking, race-inspired aesthetic

According to BMW Motorrad press statement, the new edition celebrates Razgatlıoğlu’s success, featuring the M Competition package with M GPS Laptrigger activation, Blackstorm metallic paint, an M Endurance DLC-coated chain, and visible carbon components. The bike also includes Ilmberger carbon components, such as tank, frame, and swingarm covers, as well as a carbon license plate holder.

Each unit will display factory racing team sponsor stickers, a hand-signed world champion graphic on the tank cover, and consecutive numbering from 01/54 to 54/54. Additionally, owners will receive a voucher for an Akrapovič Evolution Line titanium exhaust and an exclusive meet-and-greet with Razgatlıoğlu. The serial no 1 bike will be held by Razgatlıoğlu, while serial no 54 will be on permanent display at the BMW Museum in Germany.

Razgatlıoğlu expressed his appreciation, saying, “What a season and we became world champions. I can’t thank BMW Motorrad, my team, and everyone involved in this fantastic success enough, and it is a great honour for me to receive the number 1 of the M RR WSBK CHAMPION EDITION 2024. It will definitely have a place of honour at my home.”

Meanwhile, Markus Flasch, CEO of BMW Motorrad, commented, “Toprak’s incredible performance, culminating in the world championship title, was a joyful occasion for us to create a genuine replica of his M 1000 RR world champion machine for BMW Motorrad’s motorsport-affine fans. Limited to 54 units, corresponding to his starting number.”

Priced at €54,000, the BMW M RR WSBK Champion Edition 2024 is now available through select BMW Motorrad dealerships in Germany, with individual approvals needed for registration in other European markets.
