Suzuki Malaysia Unveils the Highly Anticipated V-Strom 250SX for the Adventure Segment, Priced at RM17,800.

Suzuki Malaysia has officially launched the eagerly awaited V-Strom 250SX, following its showcase at several prominent events, including the Malaysia Autoshow 2024 held at MAEPS, Serdang in May.

According to Suzuki Malaysia’s official Facebook account, the V-Strom 250SX is now available at Suzuki dealers nationwide. The recommended sales price for the Suzuki V-Strom 250SX in Peninsular Malaysia is RM17,800.

The V-Strom 250SX, with “S” for “Sports” and “X” for “Crossover,” is a sports adventure tourer that combines rugged versatility with modern, stylish looks. 

Featuring a smaller engine size and lightweight design, the bike offers rider-focused conveniences, a nimble feel, and the renowned reliability of the V-Strom series, thus, making it ideal for beginners, returning riders, and experienced motorcyclists alike.

Available in three colours—Champion Yellow, Pearl Blaze Orange, and Glass Sparkle Black—the V-Strom 250SX boasts a single-cylinder 249cc oil-cooled, SOHC 4-valve FI engine, delivering 26hp at 9,300rpm and 22.2 Nm of torque at 7,300 rpm. 

Power is transmitted to the rear tyre via a 6-speed transmission. The 250cc adventure motorcycle features the Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS).

Additional features include non-adjustable telescopic forks in the front, a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear, single disc brakes at both ends, 205 mm of ground clearance, a rider seat height of 835 mm, and an overall weight of 167 kg.

Based on the V-Strom 250SX released in other markets, the Malaysian model comes with hand guards, off-road footpegs with rubber, and a pre-installed rear rack. 

The bike carries 12 litres of fuel in the tank and standard equipment includes a digital instrument panel, ABS brakes, engine guard, LED lighting and also a USB charger. 

Perfectly suitable for off-roading, the V-Strom 250SX features a 19-inch front wheel with a 100/90 tyre and a 17-inch rear wheel with a 140/70 tyre, both tubeless.
