The Bol d’Or is legendary in motorcycle history. Known for powerful engines and sleek design, it has a dedicated fanbase. Now, rumours suggest a new version might launch in 2025. This model is expected to be based on the Honda CB 1000 Hornet.

Reports from Motorrad Online, citing Japanese insiders, hint at exciting details. The new bike would likely feature a water-cooled inline-four engine. This engine could deliver around 150 horsepower. It features a steel frame with an inverted fork. A dual-sided swingarm would complete the setup. This promises a machine that looks great and performs even better.

However, this news might disappoint European fans. The new model might be exclusive to Japan. This would be similar to the 2022 release of the Honda Hawk 11. That model was also limited to the Japanese market.

Speculation suggests this new bike could replace the CB 1300 Bol d’Or. The CB 1300 is still available in Japan but discontinued in Europe. The new model could fill this gap, offering a modern take on a classic design.

Honda’s potential 2025 release would blend history with innovation. Whether it carries the Bol d’Or name or not, it’s a significant step for Honda. This new model could be more than just a motorcycle. It could be a statement of Honda’s ongoing commitment to excellence.
