Revolutionizing the custom motorcycle scene, Marcus Walz, once a racer and then a chopper builder, has etched his name among the trendsetters with his iconic creations.

The melding of old-school charm with modern performance has become his trademark, epitomized in his latest masterpiece: the WalzWerk R nineT Roadster. A celebration of BMW’s centenary and WalzWerk’s 33rd anniversary, this bike seamlessly merges the timeless appeal of the R series with the contemporary flair of the R nineT Pure.

Taking a cue from his highly successful Schizzo range, which has seen an ever-growing demand, Walz embarked on a journey to craft a bike that pays homage to both BMW’s heritage and his own legacy in the custom scene. Starting from scratch, as is customary in Walz’s workshop, every inch of the R nineT Pure was transformed to embody the quintessential WalzWerk style.

The rear frame kit, a signature of Walz’s designs, gives the bike its distinctive hooped tail, while custom spoked wheels, clad with Metzeler rubber, ensure both form and function. Stripping away the modern facade, traditional gaiters and stanchion covers add a touch of nostalgia, complemented by a sleek Monolever gas tank meticulously integrated into the frame – a testament to Walz’s craftsmanship.

In terms of performance, no compromises were made. The fork, now equipped with Wilbers internals, promises exceptional handling, while a Black T rear shock ensures a smooth ride. Enhancing both aesthetics and power, an Akrapovic exhaust kit, paired with a K&N filter, unleashes the full potential of the Boxer twin, accentuated by a carbon-infused finish.

The attention to detail extends to every aspect of the bike, from the choice of materials to the color scheme. A satin desert sand base, adorned with black anniversary graphics and a carbon-infused BMW/WalzWerk logo, exudes sophistication. Even the smallest components, from valve covers to handlebars, are meticulously coated in black, underscoring the bike’s bespoke nature.

Ensuring the rider’s comfort and control, LSL rearsets and ABM levers offer the best-in-class ergonomics. It’s no surprise that Walz’s focus on the BMW brand has been met with overwhelming success, with production of the R nineT Roadster in full swing. For those enamored by this blend of heritage and innovation, securing one of these limited editions is a must – they’re flying off the shelves as quickly as they’re being produced.

In the world of custom motorcycles, Marcus Walz reigns supreme, setting trends that others can only aspire to follow. With the WalzWerk R nineT Roadster, he has once again pushed the boundaries of possibility, creating a masterpiece that stands as a testament to his unparalleled vision and craftsmanship.
