Piaggio Indonesia has introduced its latest and most interesting Vespa Batik LX 125 i-get Special Edition 2022 variant. This special model is in line with the recent opening of the Piaggio factory in West Java.
The graphics on the special edition Vespa model are based on the traditional Tambal Jagad batik pattern. This batik philosophy has a collage of batik motifs that draw inspiration from various backgrounds and different cultures in Indonesia.
The pattern of the Vespa Batik LX 125 i-get Special Edition (2022) depicts a combination of seven unique designs. According to Piaggio Indonesia, these designs represent the cities from the West to the East of the archipelago.
The batik patterns are visible on the front panel, footwell side, rear storage box, rear panel and helmet.
This Vespa features an air-cooled 4-stroke 3-valve single-cylinder 124.5cc i-Get engine with fuel injection (FI). It is capable of generating 10.2hp @ 7,600rpm and 10.2Nm @ 6,000rpm torque. The engine is mated to a CVT automatic transmission.
It comes with a single 200mm disc brake system at the front and a 110mm disc at the rear. The wheels use 11-inch rims with 110/70 tires at the front, and 120/70 at the rear. The fuel tank capacity is 7 litres, and the saddle height is 785mm.
The Vespa Batik LX 125 i-get Special Edition 2022 comes with an on-road price of Rp77 million (RM21,970) per unit.
