Scott Redding moves to BMW to team up with Michael van der Mark

After the rumors and uncertainty about Scott Redding’s future at Ducati, today came the assurance of what the #45 will do for the next year.

According to an official statement, the BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team is the new destination for Redding in the World Superbike. The rider will change manufacturers in 2022 after reaching the Superbike World Championship with Ducati after winning the British Superbike Championship with a Panigale in 2019. Therefore, the pilot already has a future plan for 2022 and has Michael van der Mark as a teammate. Similarly, the same statement said that Tom Sykes’s contract was being negotiated for the following season, without providing further details.
