The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) is offering a 50 per cent traffic summons compound discount starting from June 18 until July 18 2021.

PDRM through the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) will provide an online traffic summons compound reduction offer on the MyBayar Saman application to all summonses that can be compounded, including summonses in the blacklist category.

JSPT through its statement on Facebook stated that the MyBayar Saman is JSPT’s initiative in supporting the government’s intention towards a cashless society through e-Payment services.

The summons compound reduction offer does not include major 2021 offences, heavy vehicle-related offences, exhaust modification offences and summons cases in court mention.

The public can pay the summons through the PDRM’s official portal and the MyBayar Saman application.

For the summons compound reduction offer this time, the MyBayar Saman application has been enhanced to enable companies and business entities to register as users and subsequently make payments through the application.

The public can register as a MyBayar Saman user through:

  1. Portal – https://mybayar.rmp.gov.my
  2. Google Playstore – https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.pdrm.mybayarsamanpdrm&hl=en&gl=US
  3. Apple store – https://apps.apple.com/my/app/mybayar-saman/id1552671016
  4. Huawei Appstore – https://appgallery.huawei.com/#/app/C104046205

To prevent the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, all summons payment counters throughout the District Police Headquarters and Contingent will be closed while this summons reduction is given.

PDRM hopes that the reduction in the summons compound will help the affected public in settling their outstanding summonses during the difficult time of the Covid-19 pandemic.
