Honda Japan officially announces the availability of the much anticipated 2021 Honda GB350 and Honda GB350 S for the Japanese market. Here are the availability and pricing details!
Honda Japan has just officially announced the availability of the all-new 2021 Honda GB350 and GB350 S roadsters for the Japanese market. Although Honda has renamed the models, the Japanese domestic market GB350 models are very similar to India’s Honda H’ness CB350 and CB350 RS.
The 2021 Honda GB350 is said to go on sale in Japan next month, starting 22nd April 2021. Meanwhile, the GB350 S variant is said to be made available by 15th July 2021.
Speaking of the bikes, both the GB350 and GB350 S follow Honda’s retro styling and come equipped with an array of modern features. Similar to the features found on the CB350 RS, Japan’s GB350 range comes equipped with full LED lighting, digital/analogue instrument cluster, HSTC ( Honda Selectable Torque Control) and ABS.
Built around a semi-double-cradle frame, the bikes are powered by a 348cc air-cooled 4-stroke OHC single-cylinder engine. Mated to a 5-speed gearbox, the GB350 and GB350 S push a peak power of 19.7 hp @5,500 rpm and a peak torque of 29 Nm @ 3,000 rpm.
Braking is done via a dual-piston calliper with a 310mm disc up front and a single-piston calliper with a 240mm disc at the rear. Two-channel ABS is also standard on these models. As for the suspension, telescopic front forks and nitrogen-charged rear twin shocks take care of suspension duties.
The Honda GB350 S is based on the classic GB350. However, unlike the standard GB350, the GB 350S gets a wider rear tire (150 / 70), tuck and roll seat, smoky-black finish accented muffler, skid plate, fork boots, sporty grab rails, under-seat LED tail lamp and eye-shaped LED winkers.
2021 Honda GB350 and Honda GB350 S Price in Japan
The standard 2021 Honda GB350 is priced at 550,000 yen (approx. MYR 20,700) meanwhile the Honda GB350 S rolls in with an MSPR of 594,000 yen ( approx. MYR 22,397) in Japan. In the case of the availability of these models in Malaysia, BSH hasn’t made any announcements yet.
