Ducati presents the Streetfighter V4 S in a new Dark Stealth colour scheme

The Ducati Streetfighter V4 S gets a new “Dark Stealth” colour scheme. The 2021 Streetfighter V4 range becomes Euro 5 compliant.

For 2021, Ducati presents a new “Dark Stealth” colour scheme for the Ducati Streetfighter V4S. Aside from this, Ducati also announced the Euro 5 compliance for the whole 2021 Ducati Streetfighter V4 lineup.  Joining the sporty Red Ducati colour scheme; the new Dark Stealth in matt black further reflects the aggressive side of Ducati’s all-new V4 hyper-naked.

Speaking of the Euro 5 compliance for the 2021 Ducati Streetfighter V4 lineup. The maximum power and torque values remain unchanged at 208 hp / 153 kW @ 13,000 rpm (250rpm higher than Euro 4 version) and 123 Nm/ 12.5 Kgm of peak torque @ 9,500 rpm (2,000 rpm lower than Euro 4 version).  Ducati says they managed to do this by numerous modifications to the Desmosedici Stradale exhaust line together with a new exhaust. Aside from this, they have also done numerous modifications to the engine calibration.

The modifications

The design of silencer remains unchanged; however, it makes use of larger catalysts and noble metals within to keep emission in check. Aside from this, the dimension of the exhaust rear bank has been optimized to maintain performance. Furthermore, the manifolds of the rear bank have been shorted and reduced in diameter to ensure performance and keeping emission under control. Ducati has also introduced a compact rear heat shield into the body of the bike and 4 lambda probes in each cylinder to refine control of injected fuel.

Aside from the engine modifications; the Streetfighter V4 range is also fitted with new self-bleeding clutch and front brake pumps. In fact, this was first used in the Superleggera V4. Ducati says the “natural” bleeding with the new pumps eliminate the need to intervene on the system in the event of air present within the circuit.

Availability

The entire Euro 5 compliant 2021 Streetfighter V4 range and the Dark Stealth V4s are already available for pre-order through Ducati dealers and will be made available starting November 2020. However, we don’t have updates on the pre-order availability for the Malaysian market yet.
