2021 Ducati Multistrada V4 Spotted Testing Again!

2021 Ducati Multistrada V4 Spotted Testing Again!

Latest reports bring in more details of the upcoming Ducati Multistrada V4: Here are the speculated specs and launch details!

The upcoming Ducati Multistrada V4 has been spotted a few times since last year. We have seen numerous leaked pictures and videos of the bike; however, this latest incoming leak gives finer details of the bike. To being with, according to the sources,  the V4 ADV-Tourer will hit the market next year, 2021 globally. The Multistrada V4 is expected to make its world debut during Ducati World Premier 2021 which is tentatively scheduled for October 2020.

The Latest Speculations on the specs and trim levels

For now, the details are limited, however, it is confirmed the upcoming Multistrada would get a v4. According to the reports, the V4 mill on the upcoming Multristrada wouldn’t be a detuned 1,103cc desmodromic 90° V4 engine found on the V4 Panigale. Instead, it would feature an all-new engine built from the ground up to serve Multistarada’s intended usage and audience. To add on; the new V4 mill on the Multistrada would most likely get rid of the timing belts and receive gear-driven cams.

Earlier leaked images suggested there would be two variants of the V4 Multistrada. This is because, besides this latest enduro-style Multistrada; the earlier leak showcased a variant with sports bike rubber and 17-inch alloy wheels. However, the latest reports suggest otherwise. Apparently, the 2021 Ducati Multistrada V4 would come in a single variant and would replace both the road-oriented Ducati Multistrada 1290 S and the offroad oriented Ducati Multistrada 1290 Enduro.  Yes, the 21-inch front tire seen on the latest leak improves offroad-capability and scarifies performance on tarmac but it looks like Ducati might be going with the more civilized approach of having a single “Multi-purpose” variant like their German contender.

The details are limited for now; but looking at the upcoming Multi we sure can’t wait for Ducati to pull the cover off this one.
