Honda just unveiled the Honda H’ness  CB350 aka Highness for the Indian market today. Is the CD350 here to shake up the smaller capacity retro-cruiser segment?

Honda India has been teasing us with the “Highness” teaser for some time now. Well, folks, the wait is over! Honda has just pulled the cover off their “Highness aka H’ness” just a few hours back. Just as most of us speculated, it’s a modern classic cruiser to rival against smaller capacity cruisers in the market. Joining Honda’s current CB lineup, the new Honda H’ness CB350 follows typical retro-cruiser aesthetics with modern tech.

Honda H’ness CB350 Specification

Apparently, the Honda Highness has been under development for two years. Powered by a 346cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder four-stroke engine, mated to a 5-speed gearbox, the CB350 pushes  20.8 hp and 30 Nm of peak torque.

The all-new Honda H’ness gets Honda’s selectable torque control, semi-digital instrument cluster, leather seats, classic flashy exhaust and LED lighting all-around.

Braking duties are done by 310mm disc up front with dual-piston calliper and a 240mm disc with single-piston calliper at the rear. The H’ness comes with dual-channel ABS as standard too.

Moving on, telescopic forks up front and nitrogen-charged twin-rear shocks take care of suspension duties. The 19-inch front tyre and 18-inch rear tyre seems to offer modern cruiser aesthetics while providing excellent ride quality and performance.

Honda H’ness Variants, Colour Options and Pricing

The Honda H’ness / Highness comes in two variants, namely Delux and Delux Pro. The Pro variants get dual-tone colour, double horn and Honda’s smartphone voice control system which allows the rider to call, message, navigate and listen to music on the go.

The Honda H’ness comes in 6 different colour options. As for the price, the starting price of the Honda H’ness is around INR 1.9 lakhs / US$ 2,576 / MYR 10,705 (ex-showroom price). However, Honda India announced the final price(s) would be updated by the first week of October 2020. Also, the Honda H’ness will be available for testing and purchasing through Honda Big Wing dealerships nationwide.

Speaking of the availability of the Honda H’ness in markets outside of India, trustable sources suggest the Honda CB350 H’ness would soon make it into other markets. So Malaysian readers and readers from outside of India, hang on!
