Yamaha unveils limited edition replica of PETRONAS Yamaha SRT YZR-M1 race bike priced at €46,000/ RM 228,780.

YZF-R1 PETRONAS SRT Replica

Yamaha Motor Europe and Yamaha Austria Racing Team (YART) GYTR Pro Shop unveils limited edition PETRONAS Yamaha SRT YZR-M1 Replica.

Commissioned by YART and supported by Yamaha Motor Europe and PETRONAS Yamaha Sepang Racing Team, the replica is being built to commemorate the 46th anniversary of the team’s title sponsor, PETRONAS. Limited to just 46 units, each of this bike comes with their own identification number engraved on the top yoke.

Aside from this, the limited-edition PETRONAS SRT  YZF-R1 comes with full PETRONAS SRT livery supplied by the same company that paints the actual race machines!

Yamaha says the YART-engineered M1 replica packs an array of performance components which brings it closer to the actual Yamaha MotoGP race bike.


To being with the upgrades and race components, this limited PETRONAS SRT YZF-R1 comes with a light and durable GYTR (Genuine Yamaha Technology for Racing) carbon fairing kit and MotoGP winglets. Aside from this, the M1 replica features; a rear quick-change system, racing footrests, ECU and a quick action throttle – all from GYTR.

In the case of the suspension, the SRT YZR-M1 replica comes with Öhlins race suspension which includes  FGRT 2 road & track front fork and TTX rear shock along with a race-spec steering damper. As for the brakes, Brembo GP4-RX callipers and T-Drive discs provides sufficient braking power. Aside from this, the limited PETRONAS SRT YZF-R1 also comes with Brembo supplied remote brake adjuster and clutch lever. In the case of the wheels; the bike rolls in with a set of seven-spoke aluminium Marchesini wheels and Michelin race slicks.

Alongside the bike, each buyer will get an exclusive package from Yamaha. This package includes; a KYT Helmet, PETRONAS Yamaha SRT polo shirt and a VIP guest pass for any MotoGP round of their choice!

Price and Availability

This limited edition Petronas Yamaha SRT replica is currently priced at €46,000/ RM 228,780. According to the press release from Yamaha Racing, it says the bike is already available for delivery across Europe. Interested? To register your interest or to order one;  you will have to first fill-up the registration form from YART GYRT Pro Shop website.
