The replacement of Benelli TNT 600, the SRK600/SR600K has been spotted in a fully finished form in the factory.
There have been rumours and leaks of the latest mid-sized naked bike from Benelli named “BN600”, however, it’s this bike that has been storming the internet for some time now. Recent leaks by Chinese media shows the SRK600 or SR600K in the factory floor hinting the bike is somewhat ready for the official launch. The SRK600 is the replacement of Benelli’s TNT 600 naked bike which has been in the market for quite some time now. Looking at the spy shots of the almost complete bike, we can speculate a few things and here is everything you need to know!
Benelli SRK600 Leak
We did come across the concept leaks but this complete bike finally confirms multiple features that we can expect to see. To begin with, the SRK600 features trellis frame, sticking to the tradition of the Italian motorcycle brand. The TFT dash and LED-lit switchgear hint a few riding modes, multi-stage traction control and ABS. On top of this, looking at the console mounted to the tank, the SRK600 appear to feature keyless ignition.
In the case of the engine, looking at the exhaust manifold we can confirm that the SRK600 would roll in with a 600cc inline-four engine; just like the TNT 600. This means we can expect the bike roll in with a 6-speed transmission and push over 80hp and 50 Nm of torque. Furthermore, in the case of the suspension, the SRK600 features inverted telescopic front forks and mono-shock at the rear. The forks seem adjustable; sadly, more in-depth detail on the suspension components are hard to conclude from just the pictures. However, we can clearly see Brembo taking care of braking with radially-mounted M4 monoblock callipers.
The Launch and Price
Overall, the SRK600 looks sharp and we are seriously eager to see what Benelli comes up with. As for the launch, we think Benelli would launch this bike during ECIMA 2020 given the COVID-19 situation settles down soon. So for more in-depth details on this bike we just have to wait until someone leaks more information or Benelli officially announces the specs. Aside from this, there are no announcement on the price yet so let’s wait for Benelli to launch the SRK600!
