Since a year ago we’ve known the plans of historic and iconic British motorcycle manufacturer Norton, led by Stuart Garner. The brand hopes to bring the Norton name to the masses, and to do so, Stuart Garner wants to create a few new models.
One new model that we’re almost getting to know – the official reveal will happen at the NEX Birmingham Motorcycle Live show on November 17 – is the brand-new Atlas 650.
The latest teaser video has been uploaded on Twitter by Norton’s CEO himself, and on this new video, we can catch a glimpse of the Atlas 650 in the middle of a series of older Norton off-road models.

We already know the new Atlas will be powered by a parallel twin-cylinder engine, derived from Norton’s own 1200 cc engine. The frame is steel tube, and for the rest of the chassis components, Norton has enlisted the help of premium brands for both setting up the suspension and brakes, like Brembo.
There are rumours of at least two variants for the Norton Atlas 650, and the base variant will be priced competitively when compared to other bikes of the same segment. This decision, to build a bike that is affordable by almost anyone looking for a mid-sized scrambler, means that Norton will be able to increase their sales worldwide because, for the moment, their lineup only features premium and exotic models.
We can’t wait to November 17 and to get to know all the details on the new Norton Atlas 650!
