Rejoice Ducati fans: the Borgo Panigale based manufacturer has confirmed plans to open a theme park dedicated to Ducati. Named Ducati World, this theme park is scheduled to open doors in 2019 and will be run by Parques Reunidos, a leading operator of leisure parks.

Ducati World will be located inside Mirabilandia, which is the second largest theme park in Italy, and it will be the first theme park area dedicated to a motorcycle brand.

Occupying a total area of 35,000 square meters, visitors will have the opportunity to experience a truly exclusive and innovative experience. Ducati World will have a variety of things to do that will attract motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the world. For this to happen, Ducati has plans to build a new generation roller coaster, aimed to turn the visitors into Ducati riders, simulators, virtual reality and for the smaller Ducati fans, the theme park has everything under control with children’s attractions.

Not only Ducati World aims for fun, but it also wants to give visitors a vision of what is, and what was Ducati through history. For that, there will be a showroom with numerous Ducati bikes on display, from the newest models like the Panigale V4, all the way to the bikes that became so iconic for the Italian brand in the past.

Can you imagine doing this while seating on a Ducati? We bet it’ll be fun! Photo credits: Ducati

Of course, Ducati couldn’t let visitors starve while spending a day in the roller coaster and all other attractions, so there will also be a Ducati themed restaurant filled with food and drinks to replenish our strength, and for those that don’t want to go home without a souvenir, the Ducati shop is the place to go before heading home, where you can buy all sorts of Ducati and Scrambler apparel.

For those of you that are already thinking of going to Ducati World, know that Mirabilandia is located in the Emilia-Romagna region, near Ravenna, right in the center of the famous Italian Motor Valley.

Don’t worry, you still have one year to plan the trip!

With more than ten years as a motorcycle journalist, i enjoy everything that has to do with two-wheels. I'm a fan of sport bikes and i prefer riding them on a racetrack, but give me a road filled with corners and good asphalt and i'll be there to have some fun!
