KTM AG has officially resumed full production operations at its Mattighofen facility as of 28 July, marking a major milestone for the brand, its riders, dealers, and employees worldwide. The company returns to a full-time, five-day work week after a challenging period of reduced activity.
Production restarts with the Offroad lineup, as previously announced, with models set to roll out over the coming weeks. Alongside Offroad bikes, KTM will also resume building its LC4 platform machines, including the KTM 690 ENDURO R and KTM 690 SMC R.
KTM AG CEO Gottfried Neumeister expressed gratitude to the entire KTM family: “A special thank you goes to our employees, who have made this restart possible through their tremendous dedication, flexibility and team spirit over the past months. Their commitment during one of the most challenging phases has been – and continues to be – a key success factor for the company’s future development. Restarting production gives us the stability we need to fully refocus on quality, customer proximity and further development.”
The Austrian manufacturer also extended its thanks to dealers and partners worldwide for their patience and loyalty during the downtime, reinforcing KTM’s commitment to delivering high-quality motorcycles and staying closely connected to its customer base.
