iMotorbike, Southeast Asia’s largest online marketplace for buying and selling pre-owned motorcycles, reached a historic milestone this week by welcoming its 10,000th customer. This achievement highlights the platform’s rapid growth and reinforces its status as a trusted destination for motorcycle enthusiasts across the region.
The 10,000th customer, 18-year-old Nik Muhammad Irfan, a student from Tampin, Negeri Sembilan, travelled to iMotorbike’s Glenmarie showroom in Shah Alam to make his purchase. With a big smile and a clear sense of excitement, Irfan traded in his Yamaha R15 for a Yamaha R25—a long-awaited upgrade he had been dreaming of.
“I wasn’t expecting to be part of something like this,” he shared. “But I kept seeing iMotorbike on social media, and when I finally reached out, everything was just so easy. The process was fast, and everyone was so helpful. I’m fully satisfied.”
Founder and CEO Gil Carmo expressed his gratitude for reaching this significant milestone, saying, “We are incredibly humbled by the huge support and love we get daily from all our customers and by our strong team who made this milestone possible and made us dream for so much more. We definitely have amazing exciting times ahead of us but for now, it’s important that we celebrate and are grateful for this moment.”
Since its founding in 2016, iMotorbike has expanded its reach to both Malaysia and Vietnam, prioritizing reliability and customer satisfaction. The platform’s comprehensive 170-point inspection process and hassle-free return policy set new standards for quality in the online motorcycle marketplace.
The milestone celebration at Glenmarie marks not only iMotorbike’s success in numbers but also its impact on the lives of passionate riders across the region. As the company looks to the future, it aims to continue its journey with the support and enthusiasm of customers, keeping Southeast Asia’s motorcycle scene vibrant and thriving.
