After introducing the CFMoto 250 Dual, MForce Bike Holdings Sdn. Bhd. has unveiled another new model for the Malaysian market, the Papio Racer. Priced at RM8,888 excluding insurance, the Papio Racer is available in three colour options: Clay Yellow, Nebula White and Champion Blue.

Every Papio Racer comes with a two-year or 20,000 km warranty against manufacturing defects. Spare parts are also conveniently available for purchase online through the official MForce Bike Holdings website.

The biggest difference between the new Papio Racer and the earlier XO Papio lies in its bodywork. Unlike the XO Papio, which features a half fairing without side engine panels, the Papio Racer adopts a full fairing design from top to bottom. It also comes equipped with a windscreen and winglets, giving it a sportier, race-inspired appearance.

CFMoto Papio Racer

Classified under the “mini bike” category and marketed as a “fun bike,” the Papio Racer is suitable for younger riders as well as those of smaller stature, thanks to its compact dimensions and accessible ergonomics.

Powering the Papio Racer is the same 126 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine found in the XO Papio. Mated to a six-speed transmission, the engine produces 9.5 hp at 8,250 rpm and 9.2 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm.

Despite its small size, the Papio Racer comes equipped with modern safety features. These include dual-channel ABS, supported by single hydraulic disc brakes measuring 210 mm at the front and 190 mm at the rear. Traction control is also fitted as standard, marking an upgrade over the previous model.

The mini bike rides on 12-inch wheels wrapped in 120/70 front and 130/70 rear tyres. Suspension duties are handled by upside-down (USD) forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear.

Rider information is displayed through a combination analog and digital instrument panel. Additional features include full LED lighting, a USB charging socket and a seven-litre fuel tank.

Weighing 114 kg, the Papio Racer has a seat height of 760 mm, making it accessible for a wide range of riders. With its playful styling, compact size and upgraded features, the Papio Racer adds another unique option to CFMoto’s growing presence in Malaysia’s entry-level motorcycle segment.
