Malaysian motorcycling history was made as 850 Royal Enfield motorcycles came together for the largest Royal Enfield gathering ever held in the country, earning official recognition from the Malaysia Book of Records.
The record-setting event took place at the iconic Sepang International Circuit on 11 January, drawing riders from every state in Peninsular Malaysia in a powerful show of unity, passion, and camaraderie. The spectacle of hundreds of Royal Enfield motorcycles filling the circuit marked a defining moment for the brand’s growing local riding community.
Organised by Didi Group, the gathering featured motorcycles from across the entire Royal Enfield line-up. Models on display and in action ranged from classics such as the Bullet and Classic 350, to modern favourites including the Interceptor 650, Continental GT, Himalayan, and Super Meteor 650. Many participants travelled long distances to be part of the historic occasion.

The milestone was achieved through a Parade Ride and mass gathering, giving riders the opportunity to celebrate not just a record, but the strong sense of brotherhood and shared identity that defines the Royal Enfield community in Malaysia.
Rewi Hamid Bugo, Chairman of Didi Group, described the event as a major step forward for both brand and riders. “This activation truly elevated the brand and community to the next level, uniting owners from all races and cultures under one platform and one shared goal, entering the Malaysia Book of Records with 850 proud owners. It was a powerful start to 2026, and we thank Eicher Motors for their continued support.”

Meanwhile, Royal Enfield’s global leadership also welcomed the achievement. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Enfield, said the record reflected the strength of the brand’s rider community. “We are absolutely delighted to create history by entering the Malaysia Book of Records. This achievement is a testament to the shared passion and community spirit of Royal Enfield riders. We remain committed to growing our network and riding culture across the APAC region.”
Established in 1995, the Malaysia Book of Records serves as the nation’s official authority for recognising extraordinary feats by individuals, organisations, and brands. With this latest achievement, Royal Enfield Malaysia has firmly cemented its place in local motorcycling history, while signalling even bigger ambitions for the riding community ahead.
