Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia and Augusto Fernández delivered a stunning performance at Valentino Rossi’s iconic 100 km of Champions dirt race, ultimately claiming victory after a tense and action-packed showdown at Rossi’s ranch in Tavullia, according to Crash.net.
Although they started from ninth on the grid, Bagnaia and Fernández steadily fought through a competitive field of star riders from MotoGP, Moto2, WorldSBK, and other categories. Their determination and consistency paid off as they crossed the finish line 2.4 seconds ahead of the defending champion Diogo Moreira and his teammate Federico Fuligni. Meanwhile, Luca Marini and Matteo Patacca completed the podium, finishing just 3.9 seconds behind the winners.

For Bagnaia, this marks a memorable first win at the 100 km event, effectively capping off a challenging MotoGP season with a well-deserved triumph. At the same time, Fernández showcased his versatility and skill, concluding a year of testing, wildcard appearances, and development work on Yamaha’s new V4 machine on a high note.
