Francesco “Pecco” Bagnaia and Augusto Fernández delivered a stunning performance at Valentino Rossi’s iconic 100 km of Champions dirt race, ultimately claiming victory after a tense and action-packed showdown at Rossi’s ranch in Tavullia, according to Crash.net.

Although they started from ninth on the grid, Bagnaia and Fernández steadily fought through a competitive field of star riders from MotoGP, Moto2, WorldSBK, and other categories. Their determination and consistency paid off as they crossed the finish line 2.4 seconds ahead of the defending champion Diogo Moreira and his teammate Federico Fuligni. Meanwhile, Luca Marini and Matteo Patacca completed the podium, finishing just 3.9 seconds behind the winners.

For Bagnaia, this marks a memorable first win at the 100 km event, effectively capping off a challenging MotoGP season with a well-deserved triumph. At the same time, Fernández showcased his versatility and skill, concluding a year of testing, wildcard appearances, and development work on Yamaha’s new V4 machine on a high note.

Furthermore, the 2025 edition of the 100 km of Champions featured an innovative pairing system, which matched riders based on the results from the previous day. As a result, this led to some surprising and exciting combinations on the track, adding even more unpredictability to the event. Consequently, fans were treated to an unforgettable blend of competition, camaraderie, and dirt-track thrills.

Finally, as the sun set over Tavullia, Bagnaia and Fernández celebrated their victory with fans and fellow riders, demonstrating once again that Valentino Rossi’s 100 km of Champions remains one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the motorcycle racing calendar.
