It was a dramatic finale to the WorldSBK season at Jerez, Spain, where Toprak Razgatlıoğlu completed another masterful campaign to capture his third World Superbike Championship title. Arriving at the season finale with the crown within reach, the Turkish rider set the stage perfectly by starting from pole position and finishing second in Saturday’s race. His consistent performance throughout the weekend sealed the deal on Sunday, successfully defending his title from the previous year.
Despite a tense start to the final race day, after being taken out by Nicolo Bulega during Sunday’s Superpole and scoring no points, Razgatlıoğlu showed his trademark composure and determination. Starting 10th on the grid, he needed only three points to clinch the title. With a measured, tactical ride, the ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team rider calmly worked his way through the pack, overtaking Andrea Locatelli’s Yamaha on lap eight to secure third place and, with it, the championship.
While Italy’s Bulega claimed a flawless start-to-finish victory, all eyes were on Razgatlıoğlu, whose championship-winning ride was a display of maturity and focus. His ability to balance aggression with precision once again set him apart from the rest of the field.

Toprak Razgatlıoğlu, ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team: “I am very happy and smiling. To get the title was very important for me. This was my last year with BMW and in the Superbike paddock. It is a great gift to BMW before I leave for MotoGP. In the end, we are World Champions. At the beginning of the season, we were not so strong, but we improved with every race. Thanks to the entire team and BMW for all this hard work. It is not me being the World Champion, it is us.”
Markus Flasch, CEO of BMW Motorrad: “Congratulations to Toprak and the entire team! This season, everyone has shown what true champions are made of. The first races weren’t easy, but for everyone, especially for Toprak, the attitude was clear: stand up, straighten your crown, and keep going.
This triumph caps an extraordinary season for Razgatlıoğlu, who secured 21 race wins and amassed 616 championship points to take his third world crown. His dominance this year adds to an already stellar résumé that includes his first WorldSBK title in 2021, followed by back-to-back championships with BMW in 2024 and 2025.

In 2024, Razgatlıoğlu made history by achieving 13 consecutive victories, setting a new benchmark in Superbike racing. With three titles to his name, one with Yamaha and two with BMW, the Turkish superstar has firmly established himself among the sport’s all-time greats.
As he now prepares to step into MotoGP next season, fans eagerly await how his dynamic riding style and fierce competitiveness will translate to the premier class. If his WorldSBK career is anything to go by, Toprak Razgatlıoğlu’s next chapter promises to be just as electrifying.
