The 2024 MotoGP World Championship returns to MotorLand Aragón for the twelfth round of the season. This iconic track, designed by Hermann Tilke, first hosted MotoGP in 2010. After a brief break, it’s back on the calendar for the 15th Aragon GP.

Ducati has had great success at Aragón, winning the last two races there. The team has three victories on the Spanish circuit. In 2021, Francesco Bagnaia earned his first MotoGP win at this track. Enea Bastianini secured his fourth premier class win in 2022, battling his now-teammate Bagnaia.

The Ducati Lenovo Team is coming off a strong weekend in Austria. Bagnaia, who won at Spielberg, aims to extend his championship lead. He has already equalled his record of seven wins in a season, set in 2023. Bagnaia is focused on breaking that record at Aragón.

Enea Bastianini, third in the standings, also aims for another victory. He started the season strong with a win at Silverstone in August. Aragón is a track where he has always performed well. This year, with new asphalt, he’s confident and ready to fight for victory.

The Ducati Lenovo Team is currently leading both the Constructors’ and Teams’ standings. Their consistent performance has kept them at the top.

Francesco Bagnaia (#1, Ducati Lenovo Team) – 1st (275 points)

“I am very proud of our recent work. But the season is long, and we must stay focused. Aragón is a track I like, and I’m happy to race here again. It’s where I won my first MotoGP race. We need to keep the momentum going.”

Enea Bastianini (#23, Ducati Lenovo Team) – 3rd (214 points)

“I’m excited to race at Aragón again. I’ve always been fast here. The new asphalt is a challenge, but I’m confident. I’m ready to fight for victory.”

The first free practice session at Aragón starts on Friday, August 30, at 10:45 AM local time. With Ducati’s recent successes and history on this track, expectations are high for Bagnaia and Bastianini.
