After many articles written because of what he did in Misano, and what followed his actions on track, Romano Fenati is set to make a shock comeback to the world stage in 2019! The young Italian rider, known as a “wild boy” on the MotoGP paddock, will be racing in Moto3 with Snipers team.
Romano Fenati, who saw his racing license being taken off him by the Italian Motorcycling Federation, saw his punishment ease a little, and as such, he has been given another chance to continue his racing career at world level, but will need to step down to the Moto3 championship from Moto2 where he raced this season.
Romano Fenati considered one of the most talented young Italian riders, almost saw his racing career cut short after his Misano GP behaviour, where he pushed a rival front brake lever during the race.
There is yet to be an official announcement of Romano Fenati’s return, but everything is lining up so that he rides for Snipers team alongside Tony Arbolino in 2019.
