BK8 Gresini Racing competing under the BK8 banner, have revealed their 2026 MotoGP bike colours at a special launch event in Kuala Lumpur, just ahead of pre-season testing.

The team has retained its trademark light blue identity but introduced a stronger and more modern design. The shade appears deeper and richer, while chrome elements from previous years have been removed to create a cleaner, more race-focused appearance.

Álex Márquez expressed excitement about the new season and the team’s presentation in Malaysia: “I’m very happy with the new bike and really excited to start a new season with this team. This year the presentation in Kuala Lumpur was very special; it’s a different and very important market. We hope it will be a season full of success, and we are absolutely ready to challenge ourselves.”

Meanwhile, his teammate Fermín Aldeguer was absent from the event due to a recent setback as he continues recovery: “It is obviously a great disappointment not to be there. We are working tirelessly to return as soon as possible. The only goal right now is to get back to 100%. The bike looks even more beautiful than last year’s, and there is a strong desire to return.”

Team owner Nadia Padovani said the squad heads into 2026 with confidence after a strong previous season. She highlighted the balance between experience and young talent, adding that Márquez has the potential to fight consistently at the front while Aldeguer has already shown the right attitude and personality within the project.

BK8 News Managing Director Michael Gatt emphasised that hosting the launch in Kuala Lumpur reflects the sponsor’s commitment to supporting Gresini Racing’s global growth and deeper fan engagement.

With a refreshed visual identity and high expectations, Gresini Racing now turns its focus to on-track action as the 2026 MotoGP season preparations intensify.
